It is estimated that 20% of all surviving wounded soldiers experience some form of vision loss.  The needed for ballistic glasses never ends and we were able to raise funds to supply 700+ pairs of ballistic glasses.  We continue to look for ways to provide this vital piece of equipment.  Vision loss impacts not just the soldier but his family, community and nation over the rest of their lifetime.

At the start the expanded war in 2022, vision care was not fully appreciated.  Today with so many experiencing injuries to the eyes its importance is of much greater concern.  After all, you can walk on a prosthetic leg, lift with a prosthetic arm (both important items) but you can never see with a prosthetic eye.
